1. How do I add my email address to the neighborhood distribution list?
A voluntary neighborhood email list (the “Everyone” list) is maintained by the board and is used to pass on information that is useful to the neighborhood. If you would like your email address added to the list please send an email with your name and street address to thelist@encantopalmcroft.org.
You should receive a confirmation that your email address will be added.
2. How do I send an email to the “Everyone” list?
You should email your announcement to everyone@encantopalmcroft.org. At that point, the email administrator will double-check the email for compliance with neighborhood email guidelines and then approve it for distribution to the list.
3. When and where are the Encanto Palmcroft Historic Preservation Association (EPHPA) board meetings?
Unless otherwise noted, all EPHPA Board meetings are held at The Valley Garden Center located at 1809 North 15th Avenue. Board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month, scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM and usually last two hours.
4. I just moved into the neighborhood. Who should I talk to?
You should look at the newsletter to find your house on the Block Captain Map. Then contact your block captain.
5. Who do I email with questions?
Email info@encantopalmcroft.org for general questions, or send an email to any of the officers, board members, or block captains. Their contact information is available in the newsletter or the neighborhood roster or the webpage called Contact Officers and Chairs.
6. Tell me about the roster.
The roster is updated approximately annually (although it may have a supplement mid-year) and lists all the information you want to have listed for your neighbors to see. We ask our neighbors to keep them private and not use them for commercial purpose. Email roster@encantopalmcroft.org with questions or to receive an “Contact Information Form” (or download it HERE). You can fax it or drop it off at the address listed on the form.
7. Where can I see the agenda for the next board meeting?
The newsletter publishes the agenda approximately 1 week in advance of the meeting.
8. When should I receive a newsletter?
The block captains deliver the newsletter within a few days of the 10th of each month.
9. Can I advertise in the newsletter?
Yes. Contact newsletterads@encantopalmcroft.org. Pricing is listed in the newsletter.
10. Can I see the minutes from previous board meetings?
Yes. They are published each month in the newsletter as well as in this website.
11. Can I see past newsletters on the website?
Yes. They are published each month in the newsletter archive in this website.
12. When are Board elections held?
Elections are held at the annual meeting in November.
13. How can I review an historical archive of emails that have been sent to the “Everyone” list in the past?
Click on http://lists.encantopalmcroft.org/private.cgi/everyone-encantopalmcroft.org/ and then enter your email address and password that you established when you were added to the “Everyone” list.
If you don’t remember your password, you can request it by puting your email address on http://lists.encantopalmcroft.org/options.cgi/everyone-encantopalmcroft.org and pressing “Remind”
14. I would like to find a handyman. Where do I look?
People can post handyman recommendations on the website by sending them to the webmaster at webmaster@encantopalmcroft.org. View the current list here.
